Vote 2010 Day of Action Event

0

Organizing for America

You were there when President Obama was elected in 2008, when we passed the Recovery Act in February 2009, and when we passed comprehensive health insurance reform in March.

Now, we hope you’ll be there the weekend of July 17th.

As part of our national Vote 2010 Day of Action, volunteers will be getting together in Bradley to knock on doors, call frequent voters, register new voters, and get first-time 2008 voters to commit to voting again in the November elections.

There are so many close races that any contact we make with voters could tip the balance.

Will you join us in Bradley the weekend of July 17th to make sure people in your community are committed to voting this year?  Senator Hutchinson needs your help to make sure that the Democrats who voted in 2008 will come out again in 2010.

In 2008, millions of new voters registered and turned out to cast their ballots in the November election — that was a key part of the President’s victory. A crucial aspect of our Vote 2010 program this year is similarly designed to register new voters and get those who cast votes for the first time in 2008 back to the polls this fall.

This is a big challenge, but we have too much on the line to come up short. Republicans have made overturning these reforms the centerpiece of their campaigns across the country — now it’s our job to stand up for President Obama’s allies and make sure they don’t succeed.

We need you in Bradley Saturday — please RSVP to attend our Vote 2010 Day of Action:
